Goes on my list of great places to bring out of town visitors.
Place was very busy with a car Club, several groups of motorcyclists and folks just out for an afternoon drive but staff were pleasant and efficient in handling the crowd. Will definitely be back.
It's in the middle of nowhere, so I KNEW the BBQ was going to be outstanding. What I didn't know was that it is adjacent to a paved airfield. With fixed-income AND helicopter aircraft coming and going while we ate. My little boy and his cousins LOVED it. Looking for a BBQ pilgrimage (yes, it's a thing)? You owe it to you and yours to check it out. (Plus, super nice staff and great service but that usually goes without saying in a place like this.)
Very good food. Slightly on the expensive side for what you get. I enjoy the place but limit my selections. Beer is very precious there.
Always quick, friendly, and amazing service. I've tried most everything and it's all great but the pie tin nachos are the bees knees! Great place to go just to kill time too if you have it. Just watch the planes come and go.
Great food in an interesting location (on the runway of the airport). Downside is that they are limited in payment options... no credit card or digital payment options; cash or check only. Put me in a bind at check out, as i do not carry around cash or a check book.
Took motorcycle run today with some friends and stopped in here.
Amazing, characterful place with great staff, excellent food and a unique location adjacent to small airstrip.
