Nice clean store. A bit more sophisticated than local food lion. Downside is its small and selection is limited. Constantly changing stock and not a lot of trendy items.
This was my first time in a Harris Teeter grocery store and what a store it is! They even sell cigars from a large Humidor at the front of the store. I have never seen one in a grocery store but was told it is because I was in the heart of tobacco country. This store has a spectacular array of products, food and beautifully presented fresh produce. It's worth it just to go inside and have a look around. The prices are comparable to Publix but it is far more attractive inside which makes grocery shopping a lot more fun for the whole family.
Harris Teeter always has wonderful sales. If they don't have something in stock that I want they have ordered it in the pass for me. So wonderful.
Don't buy the kielbasa if its on sale. The date on the package was not expired, but I think the meat may not have been handled properly. As soon as I opened the package, a rancid stench came from the meat, I threw it out!
